Direct Physician Access is designed around the family or household, not isolated one-time visits. Membership gives your household direct access to an emergency physician for urgent questions, evolving issues, and real-world decision support when you are not sure what to do next.
Membership begins with a private conversation, review of the agreement, and secure billing setup.
After joining, members receive Dr. Balleh’s direct DPA phone number for ongoing access.
After joining, your household completes a brief onboarding process.
This is designed to be straightforward and efficient. It covers the basic context that makes future guidance more useful, including household members, relevant medical history, medications, allergies, risk factors, preferred hospitals, and communication preferences. The goal is simply to make future conversations easier, more informed, and less repetitive.
When something comes up, you reach out directly by text or phone call.
That may be a child with a fever after hours, an injury that may or may not need evaluation, new symptoms in an older parent, uncertainty after an urgent care or ER visit, or a situation where you are simply trying to decide what level of care is actually needed.
You receive direct guidance from an emergency physician who helps you think through the problem, the level of concern, and the next best step.
In many cases, that means reassurance and a clear home plan. In other cases, it means helping you determine whether it is reasonable to wait for primary care or a specialist, or whether the situation needs more immediate attention through urgent care or the ER.
When clinically appropriate, straightforward treatment may also be handled directly, including common urgent prescriptions such as antibiotics, steroids, inhalers, and similar short-term medications. Controlled substances and chronic pain management are not part of the service.
This is not a one-time telehealth visit. If the situation changes, you can continue the conversation.
That continuity is one of the biggest advantages. Instead of starting over each time, you have direct access to someone who already knows the context and can help guide what to do next.
